If you don't know about One Direction, they are a British and Irish boy band that consist of 5 members: Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson. Each of these boys auditioned as individuals for the X Factor 2010. They did not make it to the top round for boy's soloists, but were too good to let go of, so manager Simon Cowell put them into a band. They ended up coming in 3rd place out of the whole thing. They remained as a band after the X Factor and have been working hard in the studio for the past two years recording their first album. On March 13, 2012, One Direction's first album, UP ALL NIGHT was released!! It was even ranked the #1 album on itunes the first week it was released!! Now the lads are going on tour at the end of May (which is sold out already!). They are also planning another tour for next year in June/ July 2013!!
